Birthplace: Brazil

Associate professor at the School of Applied Sciences, State University of Campinas, and member of the Interdisciplinary Post-Graduate Program on Human and Applied Social Sciences, in the same institution, I 've got my PhD in Philosophy from the State University of Campinas in 2004, and was visiting scholar at the MIT in 2010-2011. Presently my main research activity is in the area of bilingual translation of Wittgenstein 's texts into Portuguese: (1) Remarks on Frazer's Golden Bough (Editora Deriva, Porto, 2011), (2) Philosophical Investigations, and (3) Remarks on the Foundations of Mathematics (the last two not yet published; cf. their online version). I have also been publishing on logical, epistemological and clinical aspects of psychoanalysis and psychiatry from interdisciplinary points of view. Discussion of Wittgenstein 's philosophy (or antiphilosophy) is my favorite topic. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
