Rafael Vasconcelos Ribeiro is an agronomist by the Federal University of Lavras (2000, Brazil, Pibic/CNPq scholarship) with Master degree in Plant Physiology and Biochemistry (2002, Brazil, Fapesp scholarship) and Doctorate degree in Agricultural Meteorology (2006, Brazil, Fapesp scholarship), both by the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture, University of Sao Paulo. Currently, he is an assistant professor at the University of Campinas (Unicamp) and his studies are related to crop environmental physiology with emphasis on photosynthesis of citrus and sugarcane.
