PhD in Nuclear Technology and Specialist in Diagnostic Physics by ABFM. He was Director of the Technical Service for Medical-Hospital Applications at IEE / USP, where he also served as Technical Manager. He was assistant professor at the Department of Physics at PUC-SP. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Nuclear Physics at the USP Physics Institute. He works in the review body of the magazines: RBFM, RBEB, RB, EJMP JRP and MPJ. In the area of Medical Physics, working mainly on the following subjects: development of radiologically equivalent materials to tissues, radiological protection, computed tomography, quality control, standards, image diagnosis and X-ray experience. He was a member of Com de Educ. and Training from the IOMP and the SBF Medical Physics Commission, the CEB / UNICAMP Superior Council and the CBR Radiological Protection Commission. He is one of the Brazilian representatives at IOMP. He is an effective member of SBF, ABFM and AAPM. He was President of ABFM in the 2008-2009 term and member of the Deliberative Council for several terms. He is a member of the AAPM's Global Scientific Research and Innovation Committee. He works as a professor in the Medical Physics Residency Program: Diagnostic Imaging modality of the Department of Radiology and Oncology, Faculty of Medicine, USP / USP Physics Institute.
