PhD in Political Science from the Federal University of São Carlos (PPGPOL / UFSCar), Master in Sociology from the Universidade Estadual Paulista (FCLAr / UNESP) and graduated in Social Sciences from UFSCar. She completed a PhD internship at the Department of Sociology at the University of California - Berkeley (UC - Berkeley), Post-Doctorate at CEBRAP and she was affiliated to the Center For Latin American Studies - CLAS. She is an adjunct professor in the Graduate Program in Social Sciences and in the Department of Social Sciences at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES). She is a researcher at the Democracy and Collective Action Center (NDAC) at the Brazilian Center for Analysis and Planning (CEBRAP) and at the Participation and Democracy Center (NUPAD) at UFES. He is currently a member of the Researchers Network for the implementation of social technology of participatory governance for public policies for the recovery of Rio Doce in Espírito Santo. Has experience in Political Science, with emphasis on State and Public Policies, mainly in the following themes: Participatory Budget; participatory institutions, local political actors and institutions and public policies. The book entitled Mayors, councilors and political parties in PB disputes: a comparative analysis of the adoption, continuity, interruption and end of a democratic innovation is in press ( FAPESP / EDUFES).
