Graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the University of São Paulo (2000), obtained his master's degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of São Paulo (2002) and his PhD in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Stuttgart (2007), Germany. Was a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA (2007-2009). Since 2010, is professor and researcher in the Department of Mechanical Engineeiring and in the Graduate Program on Mechanical Engineering at FEI University. Since 2017, is the head of the mechanical engineering department at FEI. Has experience in Biomedical Engineering, focusing on Biomechanics and Rehabilitation Engineering, acting on the following subjects: simulation of human movement, rehabilitation devices, multibody system dynamics and applications of optimal control theory.
