Professor of the University of São Paulo, Vera Paiva focus of teaching and research is on a psychosocial approach to inequality, sexuality and the psychossocial dimension of health promotion and care. Since the early 1980s has been dedicated to Human Rights based approaches and, more especially to the AIDS response in Brazil and Globally.
