Post-doctorate at the University of Gothenburg, Department of Clinical Neurosciences and Physiology, Sahlgrenska Academy, Sweden (2014) and State University of Campinas (UNICAMP) (2015); Master (2006) and PhD (2009) in Cellular and Structural Biology (UNICAMP - CAPES 6), with emphasis in Tissue Biology. Develops projects mainly in the field of Pharmacology, focusing on translational research, specifically on the development of immunomodulatory drugs with therapeutic potential in inflammatory, neurodegenerative, autoimmune and cancer diseases. It has experience in microscopic, morphophysiological and molecular analyzes of cells and tissues. It is a member of the editorial board/reviewer of 17 international Journals and is a reviewer of Elsevier. It has 2 chapters of books and 20 articles published in international journals. Currently it is coordinator of projects funded by the Brazilian Foundations, FAPESP (2015/04194-0) and CNPq (431465/2016-9), including research grants and scholarships (Project: Identification of new molecules with chemotherapeutic effect in glioma and characterization of its mechanism of action).
