Master in Education (1988) and PhD in Education from the School of Education of the University of São Paulo (1994). Lecturer in Geography Teaching Practice, Institute of Biosciences, Universidade Estadual Paulista (2001).Currently is a retired adjunct professor at the State University Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho. Has experience in the areas of Geography Teaching, working mainly in the following subjects: school cartography, school geography, teacher training, map teaching and geography didactics.
