Ricardo Azevedo Pontes de Carvalho

Medical degree from Universidade Federal da Paraíba (1995), masters degree from the Graduate Training Programs in Clinical Investigation at Johns Hopkins University (2006) and doctorate degree from Universidade de São Paulo (2003). His research interests include drug delivery to the eye and retinal diseases, neuroprotective interventions to prevent retinal degeneration, treatment of retinal and choroidal neovascular conditions and selective local chemotherapy of ocular cancers.
