Professor in the Department of Modern Languages and Permanent Professor in the Graduate Program at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul since 2016. She holds a Master's degree (2010) and a Ph.D. (2015) in Linguistic and Literary Studies in English from the University of São Paulo (USP). She has a postgraduate degree in Translation (2007) from the same institution. She is graduated in Translation and Interpretation from the Faculdade Ibero-Americana (1991). She has experience in the field of English language teaching and translation, focusing mainly on Corpus Linguistics, Translation, Terminology, and English as a Foreign Language. She is a member of the European Masters in Technology for Translation and Interpreting (EMTTI) and was the president of the Brazilian Association of Researchers in Translation (ABRAPT) (2020-2022).
