He has a degree in Biomedicine from Universidade Federal Fluminense (2011) and a master's degree from the Department of Psychobiology at Universidade Federal de São Paulo (2014). In 2015 he joined Springer Nature's editorial team in Brazil as an editor of books on life sciences and neurosciences, developing projects with researchers and institutions in Latin America. He is currently Academic Affairs Manager and is responsible for strengthening Springer Nature's relationship with the regional research community, seeking to work together with different stakeholders to better serve communities, focusing on important issues such as Open Science, Research Integrity, Research Assessment and AI in Publishing.
