Bachelor in Biomedicine from the Federal University of São Paulo (1980); degree in History by the Municipal Foundation of Higher Education of Bragança Paulista (2008), specializing in Cultural History by the same teaching institution (2010). Master and doctorate in Theory and Literary History by the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP (2018). He has experience in the area of Literature, with emphasis in Literary Theory, working mainly in the following subjects: Literature, short story, literary workshop, knowledge building and Graciliano Ramos. Author of eleven books, including novels, short stories and poetry books. Winner of the literary awards: Guimarães Rosa, Cruz e Souza, Cidade de Belo Horizonte and Luiz Vilela. His first novel, Fita azul, was a finalist for the São Paulo Literature Prize, in the category book of the year, in 2012. He coordinated literary workshops in several cities in Brazil.
