Carla da Silva Santana Castro

BA in Occupational Therapy by the Faculty of Rehabilitation of ASCE, RJ (1988), Master of Education from the Methodist University of Piracicaba (1996) and PhD in School and Human Development Psychology from the University of São Paulo (2001), Postdoctoral Oxford Institute of Population Aging, University of Oxford. She is currently an Associate Professor at the Ribeirão Preto Medical School at the University of São Paulo. She has experience in Occupational Therapy, with emphasis on Care for older adults with cognitive and Sensorial Disorders, working mainly on the following topics: Gerontechnology, Assistive Technology for the Elderly and people with disabilities. She is a supervisor at the EESC / FMRP / IQSC-USP Póst Graduate Program in Bioengineering Interunits (Master and Doctorate) (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
