Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Universidade Estadual Paulista Julio de Mesquita Filho (2008), Master (2011) and PhD (2015) of Science (Biology of Host-Pathogen Interactions), University of São Paulo, with a period in the Centre for Immunology and Infection - University of York, UK. Postdoctoral position in Biomedical Engineering field at Cornell University, Ithaca,USA (2017-2018). Has experience in parasitology, molecular biology, biochemistry, and biomedical engineering acting on the following topics: leishmaniasis chemotherapy, combination therapies, development and application of luminescent parasites to drug discovery (in vitro and in vivo), mechanism of action research for drugs, sphingolipid biochemistry, 3D cell culture, microfluidics and organs-on-a-chip technology.
