Bachelor (2000), MSc. (2005) and Ph.D. (2010) in Electrical Engineering - Power Systems Emphasis - at the Polythecnic School (EP) of University of São Paulo (USP). He is currently a Professor of EPUSP, full-time dedicated to teaching and research activities. He is a fellow of the Electrical Systems Automation and Protection Research Lab (L.PROT). He also worked within the private sector with automation and control systems, real-time simulation and hardware and software development for power systems applications and inertial systems aerospace applications. His areas of interest are: modeling and simulation of electric machines, drives, industrial automation, control systems, hardware and software for power systems and smart grids, computer graphics and animation, tools to aid the teaching of electrical engineering, inertial systems for the aerospace industry, optical CTs and PTs for power system, protection, automation and control of electrical systems using IEC 61850, embedded hardware and software for automotive and motorsports applications, motor, batteries and drives for electric and hybrid vehicles.
