Bachelor in Biotechnology from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar). PhD in Biotechnology applied to vaccine development by the Interunit Postgraduate Program in Biotechnology at USP / IPT / Instituto Butantan (Note CAPES 5). Sandwich doctorate in Italy, at the Istituto di Biochimica delle Proteine (IBP) - Napoli, belonging to the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche. EXPERIENCES: from 2009 to 2013 I worked at the Laboratory of Biochemistry and Applied Genetics (LBGA) together with Prof. Dr. Iran Malavazi in the development of the Project "Identification, deletion and characterization of Peroxiredoxins from the human opportunistic pathogen fungus Aspergillus fumigatus". In parallel in 2012, I worked on the development of a new diagnostic kit with the company WAMA Diagnóstica, under the supervision of Maria Angélica de Camargo given my knowledge in Molecular Biology. In 2014 I joined the Butantan Institute, in the Vaccine Development Laboratory to work directly on the development of a new Antigen Presentation Platform called MAPS-OMV, Project: Establishment of a new antigen presentation platform ?multiple antigen presenting system? (MAPS ) applied to vaccine antigens of schistosoma mansoni. Oriented by Profa. Dr. Luciana C. C. Leite I specialized in the Professional Improvement Program (PAP) at FUNDAP and my doctorate. DEVELOPED SKILLS: Gene amplification by the PCR method, analysis of gene expression by Real-time PCR, insertion and gene deletion by classical methodology, construction of fusion proteins, protein expression and purification, Liquid chromatography, HPLC, batch preparation in bench and pilot scale. Experience in using a heterologous bacterial protein expression system (E. coli). Experience in cell culture of bacteria, fungi, animal and human cells. Protein characterization, "in situ" immunolocation, confocal and electron transmission microscopy. Immune assays "in vivo" and "in vitro" with cells from mice and humans. Cytotoxicity tests.
