Graziela Bortz

Graziela Bortz is professor of music analysis, theory and perception at the Institute of Arts at Unesp. She recently completed research funded by FAPESP in public policies on the impact of the Guri Santa Marcelina Program on brain structures, cognitive and social skills in children in Greater São Paulo, collaborating with researchers in the areas of psychiatry, psychology, statistics and music education (Proc. n. 2019/02133-4). In 2024, she will carry out a postdoctoral internship at the University of Padua (Italy), financed by Fapesp, collaborating in the multicenter MusicEnsemble project on musicians' memory, under the supervision of Massimo Grassi, from the Department of Psychology. She was a French horn player (OSPA and Theatro Municipal de São Paulo), pedagogical coordinator at Emesp-Tom Jobim and currently collaborates as a reviewer for SIMCAM, Percepta, ANPPOM, Opus, Hodie, Psychology of Music, among other journals.
