Graduated in Farmacy (1998), Master and ph.D in Science (Human Physiology) by the Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of São Paulo (2005) and completed her postdoctoral studies in Biochemistry by the Boston University, School of Medicine (2007). She is Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the Federal University of São Paulo. She leads the young investigator research project entitled: Effects of fatty acids on the differentiation and function of white adipose tissue. She has published more than 30 papers in this área of investigation. Has experience in Adipose Tissue, focusing on Energy Metabolism, acting on the following subjects: fatty acids, insulin resistance and adipokines. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
