Assistant Professor at the Analytical Chemistry Department at IQ-UNICAMP and coordinator of the Environmental Chemistry Laboratory (LQA-IQ-UNICAMP) since 2014. Director of the Environmental Chemistry Division of the Brazilian Chemical Society (biennium 2018-2020). Member of the Global Panel on the Chemical Pollution of the Environment (GPCPE). Bachelor of Chemistry from the State University of Campinas (IQ-UNICAMP - 2004), Master of Science in Analytical Chemistry (IQ-UNICAMP - 2007), Doctor of Science (IQ-UNICAMP - 2011). Post Doctorate in Aquatic Ecotoxicology by the School of Technology (FT-UNICAMP) (2012-2014) and in Technologies for Water Reuse and DBPs formation by the University of South Carolina (USC), USA (2017). Research area in ​​Environmental Chemistry, with an emphasis on emerging contaminants in natural waters (pharmaceuticals and personal care products, endocrine disruptor compounds, illicit drugs, pesticides, disinfection by products (DBPs) and microplastics); in ecotoxicology applied the risk assessment of environmental contaminants in aquatic systems; in the evaluation of water and effluent treatment systems and in water reuse technologies; and in the development and validation of analytical methods for the determination of organic contaminants at trace levels using chromatographic methods of analysis.
