Graduation as BS in Chemistry and Technology by the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (1995), Master?s degree in Biological Science (Molecular Biology) by the Federal University of São Paulo (1999) and PhD in Biological Science (Molecular Biology) by the Federal University of São Paulo (2003). Currently works as a Level V Scientific Researcher on the Laboratory of Pain and Signaling in the Butantan Institute. Features experience in Hemostasis, especially on changes on blood coagulation due to accidents with venomous animals; Protein Chemistry, mainly on the purification and characterization of new anti-clotting substances and the design and synthesis of peptides. Supervisor and Professor of the Post-graduation program in Toxinology Sciences of the Butantan Institute. Worked as coordinator of the program for Specialization on Toxins of Health Relevance from the Butantan Institute ?CEFOR - Education Secretary of the State of São Paulo, and presently is this program?s Certified Supervisor. Furthermore, is Professor of the ?Analytic Tools applied to Health?. Since 2017 has been the National Coordinator of the Brazilian Biology Olympics, and of the Biology area from the National Science Olympics for the last three years. Has also worked as Member of the Residue Commission of the Butantan Institute since 2012, and as surrogate Representative Member of the Health Ministry on the National Bio-security Technical Commission (CTNBIO), this now being the second term.
