Birthplace: Brazil

Doctor and Master in Sciences from the Postgraduate Program in Engineering and Materials Science at the University of São Paulo (USP-FZEA) with an exchange period in Switzerland, at the Materials Research Laboratories - Empa. Graduated with a Chemical Degree from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCAR - Campus Araras). Technician in Chemistry at the Paula Souza State Technological School Center. I developed research in biopolymers and biodegradable polymers (PHB, starch, chitosan, cellulose, and other polysaccharides), the study of the structure-properties-application of materials, microencapsulation, polymer processing, controlled release materials, and related areas of chemistry, engineering, and sciences of materials. I was a FAPESP fellow during my doctorate and a CAPES fellow during my master's degree with research in ferti-releasing biopolymers. During graduation, I was a FAPESP fellow, developing research on conductive polymers at the Laboratory of Polymeric Materials and Biosorbents (UFSCar - Araras). I participated in the Science without Borders program, by CNPq, Canada/CBIE (2012/13 - Algoma University, Sault Ste Marie - Ontario). Intern and research assistant on lipids and the chemical characterization of cutins from Camelina sativa. CAPES scholarship by PIBID between 2010 and 2012, developing activities that provided improvements in teaching and learning in public schools. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
