Sonia Maria Troitiño Rodriguez

Graduated in History from the University of São Paulo, trained in Cultural Heritage by Fundación Duques de Sória and Ministry of Culture of Spain and in Archives by Fundación Sanchez-Albornoz / Universidad de Valladolid (Spain). She served as director of the Center for Permanent Archives of the Public Archives of the State of São Paulo, in addition to working as a consultant in the areas of historical research and organization of collections for various institutions. PhD in Social History from the University of São Paulo, having developed research in the thematic line Historiography and Documentation. Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Sciences at Unesp (FFC) in the courses of Archival Science and Library Science at the Department of Information Science and permanent professor at the Post-Graduate Program in Information Science at UNESP, which currently stands out for the Unesp Internationalization Project. She has experience in the field of Information Science, with an emphasis on Archival Science. Between 2014 and 2020, she was coordinator of the UNESP Documentation and Memory Center - CEDEM and president of the UNESP Documents and Access Assessment Committee (CADA), in the 2017-2020 term. She is co-author of the book Naming records: from theory to practice; the Classification Plan and Temporality Table for Unesp Records: Activities - Medium; organizer of the Panorama Record Management books at Unesp; About the art of keeping. Reflections on the collection of Lívio Xavier; Workers, Archives, Memory, Truth, Justice and Reparation; among other books and scientific articles. She is a researcher for the CNPq Gênese Documental Archival research group (UFF) and Thematic Representation of Information (UNESP) and vice-leader of the research group Collections: Dimensions of Records, Memory and Heritage (UNESP).
