Tânia Forster Carneiro is a professor at the Faculty of Food Engineering at the Bioengineering and Biotechnology Department of the State University of Campinas since 2013. Dr. Forster has a PhD in Industrial Process Engineering - University of Cadiz (Spain) in 2004. She is currently coordinator of the BIOEN Project of FAPESP (Young Researcher) at UNICAMP, received 6 awards / honors, including the CONFERENCE SERIES LLC award. (USA) with the work "Study of subcritical water hydrolysis of green coffee powder for second generation ethanol". Dr. Forster has published about 42 articles in journals and 82 papers in annals of events and has 7 chapters of books published. She has taught 6 Master's Dissertations, 2 PhD theses (in progress) and co-directed 9 scientific initiation works and 4 course completion work in the areas of Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Civil Engineering. In his professional activities he interacted with 9 collaborators in co-authorship of scientific works and acts as a reviewer for 13 periodicals. Dr. Forster has two patents: "System for the simultaneous implementation of biodegradability tests (University of Cadiz)" and "Integrated system for the production of biofuels from waste and use (State University of Campinas)". She has experience in Bioengineering, Sanitation and Environment, working mainly in the following lines of research: Management and Integrated Management of Solid Waste; Energy Utilization of Waste with High Organic Load; Anaerobic Digestion of Solid Residues; Microbiology Applied to Sanitary Engineering; Technological Aspects of Fermentations and Reactions in Supercritical Media: Hydrolysis and Gasification.
