Bachelor Degree in Biological Sciences from Institute of Biosciences, University of São Paulo. Has experience in Physiology with emphasis in Human Physiology and Molecular Biology and Genetics. Scientific initiation was conducted in the Department of Cell and Developmental Biology and Department of Anatomy from Institute of Biomedical Sciences, University of São Paulo (ICB-USP), acting on the following topics: thyroid hormone, thyromimetics, perinatal environment, mitochondrial biogenesis and proteolysis in muscle. Profesor at Anhembi Morumbi University. PhD in Sciences (Translational Medicine) by Department of Medicine, Translational Medicine Program from Escola Paulista de Medicina, Universidade Federal de São Paulo (UNIFESP-EPM), and developed part of her doctorate and PostDoctoral at the Institut de Recherche en Biologie Humaine et Interdisciplinaire Moléculaire of the Université Libre de Bruxelles (IRIBHM-ULB), using zebrafish and stemm cells model. Her research involves the following subjects: congenital hypothyroidism, thyroid embryology, resistance to thyroid hormone, pediatric and edocrine diseases, next generation sequencing, stem cells technology, and mutagenesis. Post Doctoral Fellow in Endocrinology by Department of Medicine from EPM-UNIFESP. Also works in the field of education through the development of educational materials for teaching science and biology.
