Adjunct Professor at the Center for Engineering, Modeling, and Applied Social Sciences at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), Santo André, SP, and affiliated with the Graduate Program in Environmental Science and Technology (PPG-CTA). Holds a bachelors degree in Biological Sciences from Universidade Paulista, a masters degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from São Paulo State University (UNESP), and a PhD in Applied Ecology from the Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture and the Center for Nuclear Energy in Agriculture (ESALQ/CENA-USP).He conducted part of his doctoral studies at the University of Otago, New Zealand, and received an honorable mention for his thesis in the USP Thesis Highlight Award 2017 in the Multidisciplinary area. He served as a full professor in the Biological Sciences program at Universidade Paulista, Sorocaba campus, and as a postdoctoral researcher at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), Sorocaba campus. Additionally, he was a visiting professor at the University of WisconsinMadison (USA) under the Fulbright Junior Faculty Member Awards program.His expertise lies in ecosystem ecology, with an emphasis on aquatic ecology.
