Isabel Cristina Moraes

Adjunct Professor at the Center for Agricultural, Environmental and Biological Sciences (CCAAB) at the Federal University of Bahia - UFRB, Cruz das Almas (Bahia). Professor in the area of Physical Geography with an emphasis on Remote Sensing and permanent member of the Postgraduate Program in Agricultural Engineering (PPGEA/UFRB). Coordinator of the MAPEIA Study Group and deputy leader of the Environmental Sciences Research Group - GECAM/UFRB. He has a degree in Geography from the Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" - UNESP/Rio Claro (2009), a master's degree in Regional Geology (2011) and a doctorate in Geography (2016) from the same institution. She was a FAO/UN geoprocessing consultant at the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture - MPA and at the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply - MAPA. She is linked as a substitute professor to the Universidade Estadual Paulista-UNESP/Ourinhos and the University of Brasília-GEA/UnB, in the areas of Cartography, GIS, Geoprocessing, Photointerpretation and Geomorphology.
