Holds a Bachelor's degree in Agronomic Engineering from the "Luiz de Queiroz" College of Agriculture (ESALQ/USP). Earned both a Master's and a Doctorate in Agronomy (Genetics and Plant Breeding) from the same institution, in addition to completing a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Department of Genetics at the "Luiz de Queiroz" College of Agriculture. Currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Genetics at the "Luiz de Queiroz" College of Agriculture, conducting research and supervising work in Crop Production and Vegetable Breeding. Has experience in the area of Vegetable Production and Breeding. His main research focuses include genetic improvement of potatoes for cultivation in tropical climates, genetic improvement of diploid potatoes, and garlic breeding through mutagenesis.
