Bachelor in Physics from Federal University of São Carlos. Master and Doctorate degree in Solid State Physics at Federal University of São Carlos in the area of Piezoelectric and Ferroelectric Ceramic Materials. He is Associate Professor III at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP). Has experience in the areas of Condensed Matter Physics and Materials Science. He works on the following research topics: (i) Synthesis, processing and characterization of physical properties of multiferroic, piezoelectric, ferroelectric and photovoltaic ceramics; (ii) Development of piezoelectric ceramics and single crystals for sensors, actuators and ultrasonic transducers for biomedical applications and; (iii) Growth and characterization of energy-harvest multiferroic single crystals produced by the vertical Bridgman-Stockbarger method.
