He graduated in Dentistry from the Federal University of Alfenas (1996), specialization - APCD-SJC (2003) and a Masters Of Science in Public Health - University of São Paulo (2005), PhD in Oral Biology - Faculty of Dentistry of Bauru - USP (2009) and Postdoctoral degree in Biological Sciences - Faculty of Dentistry of Bauru - USP (2018). He has worked for 22 years in Public Health area, with experience in RD&I - Health Technologies - Products and Process. Director - Research of TRIALS - Oral Health & Technologies. Received financial support from FAPESP - Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo for RD&I activities inside the Company and University. Among the innovations already inserted in the market, which collaborated, the following stand out: - KIT ESCOVINHA® - School Dental Kit , this product was the winner of the FINEP Innovation Award 2014 and 2015 and is already used by more than two million schoolchildren; - Dental Gel of Escovinha, the result of his doctoral thesis, dental gel was the great winner of the 2008 USP Innovation Olympics; - Dentalclean Daily Regenerating Dental Gel - REFIX Technology - capable of regenerating the demineralized dental structures, and treating and preventing tooth sensitivity.
