Doctoral candidate in sociology at the University of Georgia. I hold a Ph.D. in Law from the University of Sao Paulo and an LLM from Yale Law School. I am a researcher affiliated with the Health Research Group at the Center for Public Policy and Management at Insper, Sao Paulo, where I was an assistant professor of law between 2019 and 2022. I am a researcher and founding member of LAUT- Center for Analysis of Liberty and Authoritarianism. I was a 2016-2017 Fox Fellow at the MacMillan Center for International and Area Studies, a Senior Research Fellow at the Solomon Center for Health Law and Policy, and a student fellow at the Global Health Justice Partnership, all at Yale University. I was a visiting professor at the University of St Gallen (2021) and a Scholar in Residence at the University of Georgia (2021). My areas of study include social rights and social policy, health law, empirical legal research, and prison health. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
