Luis A. Follegatti Romero is a Professor at the Chemical Engineering Department of the University of São Paulo (USP). He has a post doctorate in Chemical Engineering from UNICAMP (Brazil). PhD in Food Engineering from UNICAMP (Brazil) also developed at the University of Aveiro (Portugal). He holds a Master's degree in Food Engineering also from UNICAMP and a degree in Food Industry from UNAS (Peru). He leads a research team that focuses on developing of extraction process using non-conventional solvents for recovery and purification of biofuels, natural gas, biogas and high value-added biorefinery products.
