She holds a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Pontifical Catholic University of Campinas (2004) and obtained her PhD (2009) in the Department of Pharmacology at UNICAMP. Between 2014 and 2016, she conducted postdoctoral research at George Washington University under the supervision of Prof. Ferid Murad (Nobel Prize in Medicine in 1998). From June 2011 to May 2022, she worked as an Assistant Professor. Since June 2022, she has held the title of Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology at UNICAMP. From 2019 to 2021, she was a member of the scientific committee of the Brazilian Society of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics. She has experience in Pharmacology, with emphasis on Autonomic Pharmacology, mainly focusing on alterations in the lower urinary tract, cardiovascular system, and erectile dysfunction, with a focus on the role of modulators of soluble guanylate cyclase, beta-3 adrenergic agonists, SGLT2 co-transporter inhibitors, and inhibitors of cyclic nucleotide efflux transporters.
