He has a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from UEL - State University of Londrina, a master's degree in Information Science from UNESP - Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, a PhD in Architecture and Urbanism from USP - University of São Paulo and a Post-Doctorate from UEL. He is currently a professor at the Faculty of Architecture, Arts and Communication at UNESP/Bauru, teaching the subjects of Architectural Design at LAUP Laboratory of Architecture, Urbanism and Landscaping, Architecture and Environment, Urban Requalification, Architectural Design, Sustainability, Experimental Site, Urban Planning and Guidance on Final Undergraduate Work. Collaboration within postgraduate studies, as well as at the GA Research Center at UNESP and Laboratório Americano de Paisajes de la Producción in Seville (Spain), developing cooperative work with several Brazilian and foreign researchers such as at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Sevilla (Universidad de Sevilla), Unicamp, Usp, Fundacion de Ferrocarriles Espanhol, Universidad Nacional de Tucumán (Argentina), Institute of Social Sciences of the University of Minho (Portugal), Facultad de Construcciones Departamento de Arquitectura y Urbanismo da Universidad Oriente (Cuba) and Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain). It is part of CICOP/Brazil - International Center for Heritage Conservation, serving various public and private entities in the preparation, implementation and management of projects focused on cultural, historical, artistic, architectural and natural heritage, in addition to the creation of methodologies, studies and related searches. They have dedicated themselves to research with a perspective of national and international cooperation, on topics of interest in the context of undergraduate and postgraduate studies, with the support of main funding bodies such as FAPESP, CNPQ and FUNDUNESP. He is a founding member of RED APPLab - Laboratorio Americano de los Paisajes Históricos de la Producción (Seville), an entity that aims to consolidate and expand the exchange of technical knowledge between Ibero-American countries, for improvement related to methodologies, comparative analyzes and technology transfer. In research, it works in the following areas: heritage preservation and use of geospatial information systems, assessment of the built environment and rehabilitation in the heritage context; urban and railway planning; environmental-urban risk management; industrial heritage; assessment of the built environment.
