In this project we propose to investigate heavy quark production in high energy collisions with the ALICE experiment at the LHC in the Physics Institute of the University of São Paulo. We propose to investigate the relative contribution of different physics processes on the production of charm quarks in proton proton collisions at the LHC. (AU)
