Rafaela Silva Rabelo

Adjunct Professor at the School of Education, Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (Minas Gerais, Brazil). She holds a Ph.D. in History of Education from the University of São Paulo with a period as visiting student at Teachers College, Columbia University. Member of the Interdisciplinary Center for Studies and Research on the History of Education (NIEPHE). Associate researcher in the Thematic Project Knowledge and Practices in frontiers: toward a transnational history of education (1810 -...) (FAPESP Process # 2018/26699-4). Member of the Paedagogica Historica Editorial Assistant Board. Part of the Education Pandemics Archive website project team. She co-edited the books Movimento Internacional da Educação Nova (Brazil: Fino Traço, 2020) and Escola Nova em Circuito Internacional: cem anos da New Education Fellowship (Brazil: Fino Traço, 2021). Her research interests include transnational history of education, historical networks, Progressive Education, intellectual exchanges between Brazil and the USA, Pan-Americanism, and the Good Neighbor policy.
