Rafael de Brito Dias

Rafael de Brito Dias is Associate Professor at the University of Campinas' School of Applied Sciences and is currently Unicamp's Advisor for International Relations, as well as a member of the Council of Unicamp's Confucius Institute and the university's representative in AUGM.He is a member of the Graduate Program in Humanities and Applied Social Sciences and of the Graduate Program in Science and Technology Policy, both at Unicamp. He is also an adjunct member of the Graduate Program in Science Technology Studies, Faculty of Graduate Studies, York University Canada.He is also the coordinator of GAPI (Innovation Policy Analysis Group) at the same university.He was a post-doctoral researcher at the Science Policy Research Unit (SPRU), at the University of Sussex, United Kingdom (2016), with support from CAPES. He holds a PhD in Scientific and Technological Policy from Unicamp (2009), with an internship at the Georgia Institute of Technology (2009), and a Master's in Scientific and Technological Policy from Unicamp (2005). He holds a degree in Economics from Facamp (2003).He has experience in the areas of Science and Technology Studies and Science, Technology and Innovation Policies, working mainly on the following topics: technologies for social inclusion; science, technology and power; technology and democracy; comparative science and technology policy.
