Rafael has Bachelor's degree in Forest Engineering at Federal University of São Carlos - campi of Sorocaba/SP and Master's degree in Forest Science by Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of Botucatu. Rafael was a trainee at the Experimental Station of Forestry Sciences of Itatinga (ESALQ / USP), carrying out research in forestry, ecophysiology and forest management. In addition, he assisted in the research of postgraduate students with projects located in Itatinga/SP.
