Graduated in Biological Sciences; Master's and Doctorate in Genetics and Evolutionary Biology obtained at the Institute of Biosciences of the University of São Paulo (Brazil). He attended Short Programs at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (USA). He is currently a PqC-6 Research Scientist, Collaborating Researcher at the Institute of Advanced Studies at USP, Master/Doctoral Supervisor at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo and Supervisor at the lato sensu postgraduate course at the Superior School of the Butantan Institute. Former member of the Research Council of the Butantan Institute. He conducts scientific research in the field of Health, with emphasis on Population Genetics, Microevolution of pathogen-vector mosquitoes, Epidemiology, Parasite-Host Interaction and Endosymbiosis. He carries out Science Communication in these fields as well. He has experience in techniques such as Molecular Biology, Geometric Morphometrics, Mathematical Modelling and Statistics. Research Gate RG Score in the top 7 percent. He is a fellow Mensa Society, which gets together people with the highest Intellectual Quotient in the world (top 2 percent ).
