CEO of @Tech (www.techagr.com). Graduated in Veterinary Medicine from the Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (2004). Holds a Master's degree in Agronomy, with a focus on Animal Science and Pastures, from the University of São Paulo (USP), Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture (ESALQ). Earned a Ph.D. in Sciences from USP/ESALQ (2010), with an internship at the University of California - Davis. Completed two postdoctoral fellowships: the first at Embrapa Informatics in Agriculture, and the second at USP/ESALQ.His expertise includes Animal Science, with a focus on the nutritional requirements of beef cattle and statistical modeling, covering areas such as bioenergetics, feed efficiency, empirical modeling, structural equation modeling, and the development of economic, energy, and environmental models. Since 2010, he has been dedicated to research and development, particularly in precision livestock farming and the simulation of biological models applied to agriculture.Throughout his academic career, he received scholarships from CNPq and FAPESP and participated in national and international projects. He has published 15 articles in scientific journals and 6 book chapters, with an h-index of 10 on Google Scholar and 459 citations. As CEO of @Tech, he led the development of innovative technologies such as BeefTrader, SmartTrato, Livestock Profit Tool (LPT), PoultryTrader, VirtualVet, BeefTrader Grass, and FishTrader, all of which achieved consistent results and were positively evaluated by FAPESP, FINEP, CNPq, ABDI, among others.In addition to his role in R,DI, Tiago is responsible for the strategic management of @Tech, focusing on governance, entrepreneurship, leadership and talent management, and investor relations. His contributions to R,DI and innovation have been recognized with more than 10 awards, totaling R$ 1,380,000 in prizes. He assisted his research groups in securing over R$ 4 million in projects during his postdoctoral fellowships and more than R$ 15 million for @Tech in venture capital investments and other sources. @Tech plans to add more than 30 intellectual property protections to its portfolio in the coming years, an area also managed by the CEO with the support of his team.
