Chemical Engineering degree from State University of Maringá (2000), master degree in Chemical Engineering from Federal University of São Carlos (2003) and PhD in Chemical Engineering from Federal University of São Carlos (2007). Pos-doctoral fellow at University of Sao Paulo (2008-2011) and Biotechnology Research Institute, National Research Council Canada (2009). Associate Professor at School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto, University of Sao Paulo, since 2011. Her research area is focused on mammalian cell culture technologies for the production of recombinant proteins (biopharmaceuticals). She also works in the development of bioprocesses for the large-scale production of mesenchymal cells and CART-cell for cell therapy purposes. She is an associate researcher at the CTC (Center for Cell-based Therapy) FAPESP and National Institute of Science and Technology in Stem Cell and Cell Therapy in Cancer (INCTC) of the Blood Center of Ribeirão Preto, Medical School of Ribeirao Preto, Universidade of São Paulo.
