Associate Professor at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC) since 2006. PhD in Communication and Semiotics at the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), Advanced Studies in Linguistics at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) and Freie Universität Berlin ), Germany. Graduation and Masters in Linguistics from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ). She has experience in Discourse Analysis, Semiotics, Corpus Linguistics and Natural Language Processing (PLN) for the description of Portuguese. She is interested in language research for the dissemination of educational and scientific information in Brazil. She has supervised forty research projects on discursive networks in specific domains. Professor of Linguistics and Communication of PUC-RJ (1974-1985), PUC-SP (1985-2006) and FUB (1991-1996), she created and coordinated eight Specialization courses, worked as a journalist and international correspondent, and has carried out editorial activities. Participated in congresses and scientific meetings and published 2 books, 18 scientific articles, 9 chapters of books. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
