Bianca Waleria Bertoni

Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Faculdade Riopretence de Filosofia Ciências e Letras (1990). Graduated in Industrial Chemistry from Universidade de Ribeirão Preto UNAERP (1993). Obtained the Master?s and PhD degree in Agronomy with emphasis in Genetics and Plant Breeding from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho UNESP/Jaboticabal (1999; 2002). Currently is professor/researcher at Universidade de Ribeirão Preto UNAERP. Skilled in Agronomy, with emphasis on in vitro Germplasm Conservation, has carried out projects for the conservation of medicinal plants and cerrado species, using tissue culture and molecular markers techniques for germplasm storage.
