Graduated in Aeronautical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (1981), received his MS degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering from Stanford University (1983) and a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering from Stanford University (1988). Has experience in research and development in Aerospace Engineering, with emphasis in Aerodynamics and Aeroelasticity.
