Graduated in Aeronautical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (1981), received his MS degree in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering from Stanford University (1983) and a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics Engineering from Stanford University (1988). Has experience in Aerospace Engineering, with emphasis in Aerodynamics and Aeroelasticity. Main research areas are computational aerodynamics, unsteady aerodynamics, computational aeroelasticity, CFD, unstructured grids, high-order methods, and turbulence modeling.
