Samuel da Silva is an Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at São Paulo State University - UNESP (Ilha Solteira/Brazil) and Research Fellow from National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq/Brasil). He obtained the B.Sc. degree and M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from UNESP - Ilha Solteira (Brasil) in 2002 and 2005, respectively. In 2008 he received his D.Sc. Degree in Mechanical Engineering from State University of Campinas (UNICAMP). His research interests cover System Identification, Signal Processing, Nonlinear Vibrations, Structural Health Monitoring, and Applied Mechanics. Currently, he is also Visiting Researcher at Arts et Métiers - ENSAM/ParisTech with a fellowship of São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
