Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP). Campus de Ilha Solteira. Faculdade de Engenharia (FEIS)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I have a Bachelor's degree (2002) and a Master's degree (2005) from UNESP/Ilha Solteira and a PhD from UNICAMP (2008), all in Mechanical Engineering. During my PhD, I was a scholarship holder of EGIDE/France in a project funded by the Centre National d'Études Spatiales (CNES/France) for a research sandwich internship conducted in 2007 at the Institut FEMTO-ST of the Université de Franche-Comté (Besançon, France). From 03/2008 to 02/2012, I worked as a lecturer at the State University of West Paraná, Campus of Foz do Iguaçu. In February 2012, I joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering at UNESP - Campus of Ilha Solteira, where I currently hold the position of Associate Professor III and am the current Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Mechanical Engineering at UNESP/Ilha Solteira. At UNESP, I obtained the academic title of Livre Docente in Dynamics of Mechanical Systems in 2015. I was also a Young Researcher of FAPESP between 2012 and 2016 and Coordinator of the Undergraduate Course in Mechanical Engineering at UNESP from 2015 to 2018. I was a visiting researcher, with a FAPESP scholarship, at École Nationale Supérieure d'Arts et Métiers in Paris during a sabbatical year in 2019. I have also conducted short-term research internships as a visiting researcher at Université de Liège (Belgium) in 2013, at Arts et Métiers in Paris in 2017, at the Institut FEMTO-ST in Besançon (France) in 2014 and 2022, as a guest professor at the EIPHI Graduate School of the University of Bourgogne-Franche-Comté, and at the Universidade Lusófona de Lisboa in 2022. Since 2020, I have been an Associate Editor of the Journal of the Brazilian Society of Mechanical Sciences and Engineering in the area of Dynamics and Vibrations. I have been working on the development of new methods for signal and system processing, identification and analysis, focusing on structural and applied mechanical health monitoring. I have coordinated and participated in several research projects funded by major Brazilian agencies such as FAPESP, CNPq, Capes and FINEP. I have also been involved in training human resources for research, development, and innovation in engineering, having already supervised 12 PhD theses, 13 Master's dissertations, and more than 30 undergraduate students who have occupied prominent positions in industry and academia.
