Holds a degree in Biological Sciences from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto - USP (1995), a master's degree in Morphology/Cell Biology from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto - USP (1999), and a doctorate in Cell and Molecular Biology from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto - USP (2005). A professor at the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho", Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (Araraquara Campus) since 2011, she is responsible for the Cell Biology course and supervises postgraduate students in the Program of Biosciences and Biotechnology Applied to Pharmacy (CAPES concept 7). Her research focuses on Cell and Molecular Biology and Functional Genomics related to the study of Cancer Biology, mainly in the characterization of genetic mechanisms associated with the progression and therapeutic resistance of brain tumors.
