Bachelor in Chemistry from the Federal University of Paraná (1998), Master in Chemistry from the Federal University of Paraná (2001) and doctorate in Organic Chemistry from the University of São Paulo (2005). He completed a doctoral internship at the University of California-Santa Barbara (2003-2004) in addition to postdoctoral internships at the State University of Campinas (2005) in the area of Biocatalysis and at Ludwig Maximilians Universität (Munich, Germany) in the area of Organometallics ( 2006-2008). He is currently an Associate Professor of Organic Chemistry at the Department of BioMolecular Sciences at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Ribeirão Preto - USP. He has experience in the area of Chemistry, with an emphasis on Organic Synthesis, working mainly on the following topics: Development of new synthetic methods aimed at the preparation of bioactive substances, development and application of new organometallic reagents, synthesis of drugs and pharmochemicals.
