Felipe Perissato holds a BA degree in History from the University of São Paulo (2014), a Master's degree in Archaeology from the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology of the University of São Paulo (2018) and a PhD in Archaeology at the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology of the University of São Paulo within a cotutelle agreement with the Max-Weber-Kolleg für kultur- und sozialwissenschaftliche Studien of the Universität Erfurt (Germany), funded by São Paulo Research Foundation (DR and BEPE-Dr). He carried out undergraduate research between 2013 and 2014 (FAPESP) and master's degree research between 2015 and 2018 (FAPESP), when he also participated in research internships at Scuola Archeologica Italiana di Atene (Greece) in 2014 and 2016. He is a student member of the Laboratory for Ancient City Studies (Labeca) of the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology of the University of São Paulo and participates in the IGS international research programme "Resonant Self-World Relations in Ancient and Modern socio-religious practices" of the Max-Weber-Kolleg für kultur- und sozialwissenschaftliche Studien of the Universität Erfurt.
