Professor of Audio and Music Technology at UFBA. Holds a Doctoral and a Master degree at State University of Campinas, Brazil (supported by the São Paulo Research Foundation) where he studied the work of Brazilian composer Moacir Santos through analysis of his film scores. He has presented his research at conferences in Brazil, Argentina, and the United States. Between 2015 and 2016, worked as a Visiting Graduate Researcher at UCLA.
