Vitor Leite earned a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the Institute of Physics and Chemistry of São Carlos (IFSC), University of São Paulo (1983), a Master's degree in Applied Physics from the University of São Paulo (1988), and a Ph.D. in Physics/Biophysics from the University of California, San Diego (1995). He was a Visiting Associate Professor at Rice University, at the Center for Theoretical Biological Physics in Houston (2019). He is currently a Full Professor at the Institute of Chemistry of São Paulo State University (UNESP), Araraquara campus. His research experience lies in the field of Molecular Biophysics, with an emphasis on charge transfer reactions and protein folding. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
