He has a Bachelor's degree in Physics from UNICAMP (1991), a Master's degree in Physics from UNICAMP (1994), a PhD in Physics from UNICAMP (1998) and an Internship at Max Planck Institut Fuer Festkoerperforschung Stuttgart (1996/1997). He completed post-doctoral internships at the IFGW-Unicamp (1998), Department of Electrical Engineering at Princeton University-USA (1998/1999) and at the former XEROX Palo Alto Research Center-USA (1999/2000). He was admitted as Professor at USP in December 2000. He was approved in the Habilitation/Free Teaching in November 2006. He was promoted to Associate Professor 3 (MS-5.3 in 2012) and to Full Professor in February/2018. Currently a Professor of the Department of Physics - Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters at Ribeirão Preto - University of São Paulo. He has been coordinator of the undergraduate course in Medical Physics and postgraduate in Physics Applied to Medicine and Biology. He has also been head of the Physics Department and is currently the Vice-Director of the Faculty (FFCLRP) for a term of 2016-2020. He performs review activities for several indexed journals. He was a technical reviewer for the book on Quantum Mechanics by David J. Griffiths, Pearson Press (2011). Has experience in the area of ​​Materials Physics and Devices, with emphasis on semiconductors, photodiodes, transistors, thin films and sensors. He completed 29 scientific initiation guidelines, 20 of the Improvement of Teaching Program (PAE-USP), 12 of Master's, 10 of Doctorate and 4 supervisions of Post-Doctorate. Author of 98 papers indexed in the ISI, with 1299 citations on May/17th/2019, only 13% of which correspond to self-credits. H Index = 21. Average of 13,26 citations per article.
